Make Sahara Your Choice For Family Dentistry!

Teeth are the glow of a smile.  Losing one or more natural teeth could lead to a range of psychological issues such as low self-esteem.   Not to forget, the physical issues such as eating patterns and speaking voice.   Thankfully, there are a number of options that we can do to repair your smile.   Among the choices, dentures are perhaps the oldest existing one and not shockingly, it is pretty effective as well.

Porcelain Veneers

Fair or not, people are judged according to the state of their teeth. A perfect smile could lead to more opportunities in life, a better job or personal success. Therefore, do not let imperfect teeth stand in the way of success.

One of the best dental options for creating a natural looking smile is porcelain veneers.

How Do They Work? Porcelain veneers are made from porcelain and are bonded to the surface of your teeth. They cover the imperfections, whether they are discolored, chipped, uneven or gapped. They are actually very strong and durable and can last for years without restoration.

Sahara Dental can create a customized set of veneers for your smile. The procedure is usual done within the same day.

Composite Filling

Fillings are also used to repair broken or cracked teeth, or teeth that have been damaged by misuse.

Currently, there are many options for fillings. There are amalgam, silver, gold, porcelain, glass ionomer or composite fillings. Sahara Dental recommends composite fillings in most situations.

What are composite fillings?
Composite fillings are made of acrylic resin and powdered glass. It offers some advantages to the more popular amalgam filling such as cosmetic improvements because composite fillings can match the color of the surrounding teeth.

Advantages of a composite filling:

  • • The biggest advantage of this filling and the reason many people choose it is aesthetics. It makes your smile look more natural as you cannot see the filling.
