Painful Toothache - Rinse with warm water then apply ice for about 10 to 20 minutes. To alleviate pain use acetaminophen. Try to have a friend or family member drive you to our dental office.
Avoid Aspirin or Ibuprofen - They are anticoagulants which can cause excessive bleeding.
Remain Clam - It is important to remain calm during this painful experience. A calm approach will help prevent additional damage to the painful area.
