Dental Veneers in Las Vegas
Transform Your Smile with Porcelain Veneers
Dental Veneers Las Vegas
Porcelain veneers are thin, custom-made shells that are bonded to the front surface of your teeth to instantly improve their shape, size, color, and overall appearance. They are one of the most effective cosmetic dental treatments available, and when done well, the results look completely natural. At Sahara Dental Center, Dr. Keshmiri designs each veneer to complement your facial features and the rest of your smile.
Veneers are a versatile solution for a wide range of cosmetic concerns. They can correct discoloration that does not respond to whitening, repair chipped or worn teeth, close gaps, and even out uneven sizing. Most patients are candidates for veneers as long as their underlying teeth and gums are healthy.
What to Expect During the Veneer Process
Most cases take two to three visits. The first is a consultation where Dr. Keshmiri looks at your teeth, talks through the shape and shade you want, and confirms veneers are the right treatment for what you are trying to fix. At the preparation visit a very thin layer of enamel is removed, impressions are taken, and you leave in temporaries. At the final visit your porcelain veneers are bonded, polished, and your bite is checked before you go.

Frequently Asked Questions
Most adults with healthy teeth and gums are. Veneers work well for discoloration that will not whiten, chips, worn edges, small gaps, and teeth that look uneven or too short. If you have active decay, gum disease, or heavy grinding, Dr. Keshmiri will treat that first so your veneers last.
Usually two to three visits over a few weeks. The consultation and design come first, then a preparation visit where impressions are taken and temporaries are placed, then the final visit where your veneers are bonded and polished. Dr. Keshmiri will give you a timeline at your consultation.
The preparation visit is done with local anesthetic, so you should feel pressure but not pain. Some patients notice mild sensitivity to hot and cold for a few days while they are in temporaries. It settles once the final veneers are bonded.
Porcelain veneers typically last 10 to 20 years with good care. Brush and floss normally, keep your regular cleanings, avoid biting hard objects, and wear a night guard if you grind. Porcelain resists staining better than natural enamel, so coffee and red wine are less of a concern.
Veneers are usually considered cosmetic, so most dental plans do not cover them. If a veneer is restoring a broken or damaged tooth, part of it may be covered. We will check your benefits and walk you through financing options so you know the real cost before you decide.
